Korea-Africa fellowship donates to vulnerable children in Zhoa

Some five vulnerable children, nursing mothers, inhabitants of Zhoa in Menchum Division of the North West region, Cameroon were happy beneficiaries of the Korea-Africa fellowship KAF largesse. The five children, Meh Hanslin, Biami Valerie, Enongene Emmanuel, Meh Ruth Sih, and Lem Nora Ndzo would be given a month subvention of 10 000 FCFA each by the Korea-Africa fellowship to help them cope with some school exigencies.

On the spot, the sum of 10 000 FCFA, school accessories and words of encouragement were given to the vulnerable children. Meanwhile, the eight carefully selected vulnerable nursing mothers were offered modern mosquito tents, water saver bottles and dresses for their new born babies.

Speaking during the official handing of the gifts at the Zhoa ceremonial hall, and attended by the paramount ruler of Zhoa, Fon Che Chrisantus II, the member of parliament for menchum North, Hon. Ndong Larry Hills, administrative and religious authorities, the DO for Fongum, Edward Egbe Forzah, the country director of Korea-Africa fellowship, Clement Asongwe, made public that the largesse by the association was going to be permanent. He told them to remain hopeful and not feel that all is lost for God is still doing something in their lives through people and organisations.

The international president of KAF, the international Coordinator of KAF, Chris Caspa and the country coordinator, Clement Asongwe, in a joint voice admonished parents and care takers of the vulnerable children and the women not to use the monthly stipends meant for the up-keep of the children for other purposes.

On his own part, Hon Ndong, talking to the press after the event said that as an elected servant of the people, it is a mission for him to lobby for projects in the interest of the community. Apart from the largesse to the vulnerable children, KAF also gave to some three hundred children pens, pencils, and other school needs.
