Lady commits suicide; drinks litre of bleach

Linda Ndassié, 23 years, committed suicide by drinking a litre of bleach. The incident took place in the district Ndogpassi in Douala.

According to the testimony, Linda went to visit Darel, her boyfriend at Ange-Raphaël. She was surprised to find the latter kissing another girl in his room.

Darel having noticed the wrath of his girlfriend tries to give explanations and Linda Ndassié refused to listen to him and rolls heaps of insults on him.

Back in their family home, the young girl drank a bottle of bleach found in their toilet and went to bed. Few hours later, she gave up the ghost. "My last born called me to tell me that Linda was no more moving. Once in her room, I realized that she was not breathing. Her sister and I have searched her bag only to find an empty bottle of bleach in it", says the father of the victim.
