Lake Chad Basin Commission resolved to improve water resources management

A two-day sub-regional workshop on the management of shared water resources of the Lake Chad Basin is on-going in Yaounde.

The workshop organised by the Lake Chad Basin Commission and the International Office for Water opened this 25th March 2015 in Yaounde.

The workshop will permit members of the Lake Chad Basin Commission to reinforce their knowledge through the experiences gathered from the participating organisations. Such knowledge will help them better manage the frontier waters.

The Deputy General Manager of the International Office of Water, Christophe Brachet is amongst officials present at the workshop.
