Leonora Miano presents her work at the French Institute of Yaoundé today

The novelist, Franco-Cameroonian Femina Prix 2013 winner will take part in a conference on her work on Monday, December 08. At the same time, a Season of Shadows presentation will be made by academics of Cameroon in the presence of the author.

Leonora Miano is a major voice in Cameroonian and contemporary French literature. Author of a dozen books, the writer was revealed to the public in 2005 with the publication of her first novel "The night inside" hailed by critics. Since then, the Franco-Cameroonian has achieved prestigious literary prizes.

After Yaounde, the novelist will loop her national tour by the French Blaise Cendrars in Douala Institute where a dedication of the Season of Shadows is expected on Friday, December 12.
