Stakeholders in the development sector have begun examining projects for investment in the Littoral Region. The projects are those proposed by various municipal councils within the framework of the 2014 Public Investment Budget.

The three-day regional workshop for the consolidation and validation of priority investment programmes, which runs from February 24 to 26, gives stakeholders the opportunity to consider priority projects for investment this year.

At least five investment projects will be retained from each of the councils in the Littoral Region. "The programme calls for a great operation and efficiency," the Secretary General at the Littoral Governor's Office, Ludovic Ngbwa, said while opening the workshop in Douala.

The workshop is holding under the supervision of Bonga Marie Yvonne, Inspector General of Peformance in the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Regional Development.
