This is the story of the beginning of the week on the island of Montreal the economic capital of the province of Quebec in Canada. It is signed François NANTEL.
Indeed, in its issue of Monday, July 4, 2016, the popular daily “Metro” made public on page 10 a letter signed by a Canadian in the name of François NANTEL threatening the Canadian Government to take the Cameroonian citizenship if they do not agree to respond to family reunification record (sponsorship) that he and his wife of Cameroonian origin have deposited at the Ministry of Immigration, refugees and Citizenship of Canada.
Below is the said open letter to the Government of Canada full of emotions.
Letter from a future former Canadian citizen

Gentlemen,
Somewhere in 2013, I fell in love with a wonderful woman of Cameroonian origin, here in Montreal, but whose status was not yet formalized, to my great misfortune, for it was not counting the long procedure all amounts involved.
In June 2014, we were married. In front of friends and family, for better and for worse, unfortunately for me the worst was to come.
And the worst came not from this wonderful woman, but by our dear officials of the Immigration Service, Border Services or the Federal Court of Canada. She was deported in August 2014, leaving behind me and her son, a Canadian of 3-year old, not knowing where to turn to.
We are soon to two years of separation, even twice in 2015, I was to join her for a few weeks there in Yaounde, Cameroon, so that all this waiting be at least bearable. But now, I have never been so ashamed to be Canadian.
We responded to all requests, all results were positive, all amounts, amounting to thousands of dollars, have been settled. Yet we are still awaiting a decision. I’m wondering if Canada or its staff are being so inhuman to the point of being incompetent and without heart.
I would better move myself in Cameroon and to ask the Cameroonian citizenship to get together with my wife and our son (though I’m not his biological father) and I saw that Canada does not care to separate a family and to hurt its citizens.
At least there, I won’t have to bother on what to expect from my country …
