MINEDUB launches 'back to school' in far North

Youssouf Hada Alim traveled on Monday through several schools and kindergartens of Maroua and Mora to mark the effective start of the course. The Minister of Basic Education, Youssouf Hada Alim, chose the far north region to officially launch the 2014/2015 school year.

According to her, the Governor of the region of the far North, Midjiyawa Bakari, particularly watched over all the joints of this major event of the year with the primary and kindergarten students.

MINEDUB presided over a solemn ceremony which drained a large number of parents, students and administrative and traditional authorities at Groupe scolaire de Domayo in Maroua. Youssouf Hada Alim said that her choice to visit the far North region is not a matter of chance.

In accordance to the theme chosen this year, "Improvement of the performance for educational teachings for best results", she explained that it is a call to mobilize nationals not only for the country, but especially for the far North, victim of crisis for some time. He took the opportunity to wish children, teachers, parents and the different actors involved in the educational system, a good school year. Encouraging all, she promised to continue to lend her support so that education can take its rightful place in the Cameroonian society.
