The military plane carrying 27 hostages abducted on Cameroonian soil by Boko Haram landed at Yaoundé-Nsimalen international airport from the far North region.
In an emotional atmosphere, ex-prisoners of the Nigerian terrorist sect were greeted at the bottom of plane, by relatives and a good number of members of the Government. Hugs and hugs punctuated the reunion. Madam Amadou Ali melted in tears in the arms of her husband.
The former hostages, officials including Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh Minister Secretary-General at the Presidency of the Republic who went to retrieve them from the hands of their captors and other personalities left the airport by motorcade to downtown Yaoundé.
After nearly five months of captivity, the ten Chinese kidnapped on May 16, 2014 in Waza, an area of the far North, Amadou Ali, Deputy Prime Minister's wife, the Kolofata Lamido and members of their families abducted July 27, 2014 in Kolofata in the far North, were released last Friday breaking Saturday.
