The former Minister of territorial administration launched a forum in Le Monde this Wednesday, January 21, 2015.

The imprisoned former Cameroonian Minister Marafa Hamidou Yaya takes up his pen, this time to register his thoughts in the French daily, Le Monde.

He published in this journal, January 21, 2015 a forum entitled: "against terrorism, parade in Abuja and Yaounde. The inmate of the Yaoundé Central Prison called the people of Cameroon and Nigeria to beef up efforts to counter-terrorism.

"In the coming months, marches should be organised against on-site killings by Boko Haram. He urged Nigerian, Cameroonians and representatives of their friends in Europe, Africa and elsewhere to show a United front. They should say 'I am Charlie': 'I am Baga', 'I am Maiduguri', 'I am Waza', 'I am Kolofata'.

He bemoaned the loss of human lives caused by the Boko Haram sect, the destruction of infrastructure Marafa fear a major humanitarian crisis from March onwards, rife in the North by dry season and epidemics.

He talked about the absence of foreign heads of State in Yaoundé and Abuja since these countries suffer the Boko Haram attacks and calls for union forces.

"Let us strengthen today in alignment with international cooperation against Islamist extremism, regardless of the name they give themselves, Al Qaeda, Islamic State, Boko Haram.

Sunday, January 11, 4 millions of French who marched were joined by friends from around the world, including more than 50 international leaders. This unanimity is the best bulwark against terrorism, noted the former Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon.
