Marcel Niat Njifenji holds anti-terrorism talks with two diplomats

Senate President, Marcel Niat Njifenji has received the Ambassadors of South Korea and Turkey in two separate audiences.

During the audiences over the weekend, Ambassadors Lim Jae Hoon of South Korea and Omer Faruk Dogan of Turkey both pledged their countries’ support in fighting Boko Haram.

H.E Lim Jae Hoon while promising his country’s support frowned on the adverse effects of the war against Boko Haram, especially the consumption of the country’s economic finances.

Ambassador Omer Faruk Dogan on his part reiterated that the terrorist sect, Boko Haram was misrepresenting Islam. In this light, he explained that Turkey is against all forms of terrorism and so is ready to support Cameroon in combating the vice.

Cooperation ties between Cameroon and South Korea, as well as Cameroon and Turkey, were also reviewed during both audiences.
