Maroua Attack: N.A Speaker sympathizes with the injured

The speaker of the National Assembly Honourable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril has paid a visit to victims of the attacks in Maroua.

His first stop was at the Bamare neighborhood where the second bomb blast occurred on 22nd July 2015, at 2:30pm.

After the first stop, he was driven directly to the Maroua Regional Hospital where the injured are receiving treatment.

There he got first hand appraisal of the gravity of the situation after discussing with the hospital staff and the patients to whom he expressed sympathy.

The Director of the Maroua Regional Hospital Dr. Aboubakar Sadjou, expressed gratitude for the concern and briefed the House Speaker on the present situation the hospital faces with the influx of patients caused by the numerous attacks.

Honourable Cavaye Yeguie was accompanied to the Far North by CRTV’s General Manager Ahmadou Valmouke.
