Martin Mbarga embarks on periodic weapons search in NkolNdongo

Police officers will systematically launch a search through populous neighbourhoods to flush out any near occasion of weapon smuggling.

After police seized some weapons in the Ekounou neighborhood, police will be conducting many such operations in the coming days, at the Nkol-ndongo neighbourhood.

According to well-informed sources, the exploitation of gangsters arrested in Ekounou, as well as those of their cronies, will assist the police to retrieve weapons which seemingly are scattered in various locations. It is hoped that these searches will lead to new arrests.

While the investigation prescribed by the police boss Martin Mbarga Nguelé continues actively, night road checks and various other routines will be carried out soon.
