Mayo-Rey: Gunmen attack village, kill 2

Recently, an armed group of 12 according to various testimonies attacked the Mbalaindé village, in the Touboro subdivision, Mayo-Rey division. During the incursion, the assailants killed a teenager and a young man of 23-year-old. The named Belphah Ernest, 23 succumbed to his injuries at the Touboro District Hospital.

According to the medical staff, the young man would have received more than five shots in the chest. Another young man Gamapah Franco received a bullet in the left leg.

Reached by telephone by Le Jour newspaper, officials of the Gendarmerie of Touboro and the military of the BIM stationed at Touboro confirmed the attack on the village.
