Mebara writes to Tchiroma from prison

Former Secretary General of the Presidency wrote an open letter to the Minister of Communications.

The ironic style was well chosen. Jean-Marie Atangana Mebara sent an open letter to Issa Tchiroma on March 15, 2016. A Correspondence following the media outing of the Minister of Communication (MINCOM) five days earlier.

The government spokesman then rebelled against the former managers of the public fortune, now incarcerated who publish books saying Operation Sparrowhawk is a political cleansing operation.

Issa Tchiroma did not hesitate to treat those concerned of being “shabby.” Attacks directed against Urbain Olanguena Awono and Jean-Marie Atangana Mebara, who just released each a book on the subject.

The first remained silent since the media outing of the MINCOM. But the latter chose to react. Atangana Mebara reminds Issa Tchiroma the chronology of events in the case of the presidential plane because of which he is in prison now. Mr. Mebara also informed his interlocutor that he can be in the same situation as the former government members who are currently imprisoned.

No doubt you’ve also read a certain wise man’s epitaph on his tomb: “Yesterday I was like you, tomorrow you will be like me.” Where I am, I easily welcome newcomers.
