Michaelle Jean hails humanitarian works of Chantal Biya

The magnitude and intensity of First Lady, Chantal Biya’s humanitarian efforts that have been acclaimed by all and sundry were once more highlighted by the visiting scribe of la Francophonie SG, Michaelle Jean.

The remark was made during a lunch offered by the Presidential Couple to the visiting Secretary General of la Francophonie Michaelle Jean.

In the response to the toast of the President of the Republic, Michaelle Jean took some time to recount how she met Mrs. Biya at the 12th Summit of la Francophonie in Quebec – Canada, when she was the Governor General of Canada.

Since then, Michaelle Jean said, she has keenly followed the humanitarian actions of the First Lady in favour of women, children and the education of girls; a timely recognition of concern Mrs. Biya has for all the underprivileged persons in Cameroon.
