Examination officials and authorities as a result, convened last Thursday April 16, to hold exchanges with Governor Midjiyawa Bakari in Maroua.

All officials involved in the Organization of examinations, and officials of the defence forces, security and maintenance of order in the region had an exchange to find strategies to ensure safety during all the phases that constitute the conducting of examinations.

After presentations by the regional delegates of the Minesec and that of the MOE, on the level of progress in the preparation of the reviews that are planned from May 13 to August 28, 2015, for the Minesec and April 27 to July 2 for the MoE the Governor opened the debate.

As a final resolution, depending on the calendar and centres for examinations taken by those responsible for education, all those responsible for the defence and security forces took commitment to spare no effort to ensure that all students in the region partake in this exercise safely.

According to the Governor, "despite the lull observed, it is important to redouble vigilance so as not to get caught by those outside the law”.

It is important to note that some localities which suffered the throes of terrorists movement won't have exam centres as their examination centres have relocated to cities where infrastructures have not been affected.
