Military carries out heavy bombardment of Nigeria's Gambarou

Cameroon army last night started a major aerial onslaught on the Nigerian locality of Gambarou hosting many Boko Haram installations.

The Cameroon Air Force began the raids after the infantry prevented an incursion into Bodo located in the Makary Sub Division in the Far North Region.

Boko Haram fighters destroyed three Cameroonian military vehicles as they retreated on the road linking Makary to Fotokol.

Cameroon Concord gathered that a Boko Haram explosive device killed a Cameroonian soldier.
