Since a Minister is at liberty to stop by government department institutions to ensure that systems are in place, Issa Bakary decided to visit Cameroon Tribune.
Yesterday, Issa Tchiroma Bakary paid a visit to the headquarters of the society and press editions of Cameroun (Sopecam) to inquire of the well-being of workers.
"This is a normal meeting, to discuss with you the challenges that you face on daily basis. I have especially come to see the conditions under which journalists in Cameroon Tribune carry out their duties so that together we can find ways to improve.
In congratulating the Director general for the quality of Cameroon Tribune, the choice of subjects and their perspective in news dissemination, Issa Tchiroma Bakary entreated them to protect and promote the image of the Government.
At the end of the meeting, which lasted a little time in the conference room of the Directorate General, Marie Claire Nnana thanked the Minister of Communication for his constant concern and interest attached to the Cameroon Tribune publication.
