In addition to her eloquence in public speech-making especially in amphitheatres, Nalova Lyonga has penned many journal articles and books on African literature and feminist theories. They include the famous Socrates In Cameroon.

Nalova believes in dialogue, justice and transparency as therapy for most social problems. "This is not an appointment that I expected; coming even at this time. UB needs to be one of the best in the 21st century," was her reaction following the appointment.
