National Assembly: Deputy speaker visits West region

The deputy speaker of the National Assembly Theodore Datouo this weekend April 16, 2016, visited some localities of the West Region.

Honourable Theodore Datouo in his tour aimed at providing assistance to the vulnerable; increase the people’s agricultural production; ease the teaching and learning processes in schools and promote sports and leisure.

He handed financial and material assistance to physically challenged persons; 200 bags of fertilizers to improve production to some rural women; while the Youths received water pumps, some 20 schools were given didactic materials and 3 million FCFA.

The commercial motor bike riders were as well commended for the satisfactory services rendered to the community.

According to the Deputy speaker of the house, the visit was an opportunity to extend gratitude to the people of Baham, Bamendjou, Bangou for reelecting him.
