National Assembly: November session begins Thursday 10

At the Senate, deliberations will be chaired by the Senate President, Marcel Niat Njifenji and at the National Assembly by House Speaker Cavayé Yéguié Djibril.

The upcoming session is mainly devoted to the adoption of the Country’s budget.

But, as the people’s representatives, important issues regarding the life of the country might also come to close focus.

First, the recent train tragedy in Eseka where dozens of Cameroonians perished might be some course for concern, MPs might want to know who takes responsibility and what measures have been taken to avoid such tragic occurrence.

Second, the present session begins less than ten to one of the most important continental football competitions, AFCON to be hosted by Cameroon.

The Peoples representatives might be interested to know the countries readiness and what measures have been put in place to ensure total success of this big football event

It is also holding at a time when there are so many security challenges, thus, members of parliament might also want to know from competent authorities to what extend Boko Haram has been contained.
