National Day: Patriotism showcased in solidarity march

Some patriotic Cameroonians have taken part in a unity and national integration walk this Saturday,May 14, 2016, as part of activities in the build to the National Day celebration on May 20, 2016.

Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang chaired over the ceremony at the Prime Minister's Office roundabout in Yaounde.

During the march, an eucumenical prayer session was held to pray for peace and harmony in Cameroon.

The march past was punctuated with patriotic songs and placards with bilingual messages on the theme of this year's national day celebration.

Poetry and drama were also on the menu, to add colour to the solidarity march.
