A seminar organized October 14-15 in Douala by Nestlé-Cameroon helped to draw up the inventory of road safety in Cameroon.

The regular nature of traffic accidents occurring in the country has left both human and material damages in the society. Recently, a crazy truck in the district of Biyem-Assi, Yaoundé, lost brakes killing about fifteen people including children returning from school. A massacre whose causes are identical to the incident which happened in "Ndokotti Tunnel" in Douala.

This other crazy truck had skidded and killed nearly ten people according to an official death toll. Accidents of this kind and others are a source of constant concern for various organizations.

Like the Nestlé-Cameroon, which organized on 14 and 15 October 2014 in Douala a seminar on road safety under the theme "share the road". The figures for road safety in Cameroon are scary.

Moreover, the Douala-Yaoundé-Bafoussam high way has been nicknamed for obvious reasons 'triangle of death' and about 100 lives are lost each month on this axis.

The types of accidents most often recorded on these roads are as a result of head-on collisions and collisions from the back.
