The new Ambassador of Mexico to Cameroon resident in Abuja, Nigeria, Marco Antonio Garcia Blanco yesterday, November 13, 2012 presented the advanced copies of his letters of credence to the Minister of External Relations, Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo. This was during an audience in the Ministry of External Relations.
Born on September 19, 1960 in Mexico City, Marco Antonio Garcia Blanco is holder of a Masters degree in National Security from the Mexican College of Defence and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
Since 1989, he has been member of the Mexican Foreign Service and was appointed Minister in 2000. The new Mexican Ambassador to Cameroon has a rich experience in diplomatic cycles after having served in Mexico's embassies in many countries as Consul and Deputy Head of Mission. He also served in the General Directorate for International Organisations and that of UN Specialised Organisations before being appointed Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
