New Secondary Education SG Called to be Diligent

Professor Paul Gérard Pougoue has been commissioned as the new Secretary General (SG) of the Ministry of Secondary Education. During the commissioning ceremony, the Minister of Secondary Education, Louis Bapes Bapes told the seasoned professor in legal issues not to be authoritarian in handling personnel under his control.

Minister Louis Bapes Bapes told the 63-year-old administrator from the West Region of Cameroon to punish when needed and congratulate when necessary. According to the Minister of Secondary Education, Professor Paul Gérard Pougoue is an eminent educator and cannot be told of his duty as SG.

Louis Bapes Bapes told the new SG to work for a constant amelioration of pedagogic results in the ministry which can only be achieved through discipline and serenity in the treatment of administrative files. Amongst other things, Paul Gérard Pougoue has to follow-up the implementation of the ministry's road map while ensuring that staff are punctual and assiduous in their daily activities.
