New divisional officials told to shun corruption

Installed recently by Naseri Paul Bea, the Senior Divisional Officer for Wouri, the new Divisional Officers were told to shun corruption and other bad practices.

“Shun laziness, corruption, nepotism and desist from anything that does Cameroon no good,” the Senior Divisional Officer, SDO, for Wouri, Naseri Paul Bea, instructed recently appointed officials for the division.

Among the officers were the Divisional Delegates for Sports and Physical Education, Thomas Ngue Mbegde, Basic Education, Soffi Simone Epopa and Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Dr Holl.

Before his appointment on February 8, 2016, 54-year-old Ngue Mbegde was Regional Inspector of Pedagogy Number 1, while 44-year-old Soffi Simone Epopa was the Human Resource Head in the Littoral Regional Delegation.

MINEPAT Divisional Delegate disclosed after the ceremony that his main challenge is to assist business men properly execute the Public Investment Budget as well as implement the Growth and Employment Strategy Paper in order to attain double-digit growth.

Soffi Simone Epopa said ensuring proper organisation of State examinations and scoring 100 per cent in the division was her priority.

Thomas Ngue Mbegde on his part promised to avert accidents of all sorts, following recent tragedies that hit sports. At the same ceremony, the First Deputy SDO for Wouri, Ngo’o Mebe Jean Philippe, appointed on April 8, 2016, and some five Service Heads in the SDO’s Office, including the Social and Cultural Affairs, Economy and Finance, General Affairs and Local Development appointed on March 9, 2015, were presented to the public.
