Nigerian refugees in Minawawo gets an august visitor

The over three thousand refugees who fled from terrorists insugency in Northern Nigeria and sought refuge at Minawawo in the Far North Region of Cameroon have received aid and consolation from the Nigerian High Commissioner to Cameroon, Hadiza Mustapha.

The Nigeria High Commissioner accompanied by the Governor of the Region, Midjiyawa Bakari visit the refugees who have been depending solely on aid from Cameroonian authorities and the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.

The Nigerian diplomat reassured them of her country’s support noting that the Nigerian government is working relentlessly to put an end to the terrorist ambitions of Boko Haram.

Her donation included foodstuff, bathing and other basic amenities to the refugees.
