North West: GSS Kup gets first classrooms in decades

The school that operated with one classroom and one teacher for close to three decades now has been blessed with three new classrooms constructed by an Italian association.

During the ceremony to hand over the classrooms constructed with funds from an association AVI Italy, the population was assured that teachers will be posted to the area.

Sons and daughters of the division also held a church service during which some 6 million CFA francs was raised for the construction of a new temple to replace the old Nkambe Baptist Church which is now small.

The fundraising ceremony was initiated by honourable Cyprain Awudu Baya and family.
