The opposition SDF is on the field to re-conquer lost councils and parliamentary seats.

Vote for change and irregularities are passwords as the opposition Social Democratic Front, SDF competes to win the 20 parliamentary seats and the 34 councils of the North West Region.

That was the message that emerged from "Liberty Square" Bamenda, where the SDF Secretary General, Elisabeth Tamajong launched campaigns on September 15, 2013. The launching of campaigns was a rare moment for the party scribe to recall the events of 1990. She said the SDF has stood the test of time. Elizabeth Tamajong added that the SDF is the only party that can bring true democracy to Cameroon.

She called on the youths in the region to stand by the SDF. She equally called on the population to be vigilant against the fake voter cards in circulation, adding that voters should not give out their cards to any person. She equally called on all to ensure that justice and peace prevail during and after elections.

On his part the outgoing Member of Parliament for Bamenda and Bali, Hon. Forbi Nchinda said the time has come for the population of Bamenda to vote for the SDF and send the CPDM away. He enjoined them to maintain the team spirit of the party. Mayor Balick Awah Fidelis was around to outline the achievements of the SDF party.
