Experts of the National Radiation Protection Agency have received their counterparts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The nine IAEA specialists are on their second International Nuclear Infrastructure Review Mission in Cameroon.
The mission is geared at checking if the National Radiation Protection Agency is working in conformity with the norms and standards set by the IAEA.
The group from the IAEA, amongst other activities will inspect the imaging centre of the Yaounde Central Hospital, the nuclear medicine centre of the Yaounde General Hospital and the radiotherapy unit of the General Hospital in Douala.
