Between the proponents of speech on an internal rebellion and musician official of orchestrated attacks by the Islamist sect Boko Haram of Nigerian origin, the demarcation line is very thin. With the exception of the speech propagandist, the question relating to the nature of the forces in presence in the Far North remains diversified.
For some, the identity of the interlocutors and suspected Boko Haram is visibly known to be from some local politicians. Ministers, members of parliament and other frameworks policies close to the CPDM, since the beginning of the acts of banditry which is taking place in the extreme north of Cameroon, shows mismanagement, dissonance and enmities within the governing structures of the country.
As to reframe the debate and provide the assurances of the government, the Minister of Communication, during a press briefing given in Yaounde September 5, 2014 affirmed that, the attacks and other criminal acts in the extreme north of the Cameroon "are from attackers who came from the outside".
Although denounced in the first place by the Minister of Communication, the connection of Issa Tchiroma does not lie. Issa Tchiroma seems to condemn "some animated voice of malicious intentions." which, according to his own words he choose to believe that the exactions "of the Boko Haram" against the Cameroon are in reality a manifestation of an internal rebellion to our country.
However, during the same communication, Issa Tchiroma argued that: "It is possible that Boko Haram has been able to recruit, in the border villages, a few compatriots in precarious social situations."
The minister of communication indicates however that, "Mr Abdoulaye Siddiki and Me Harissou were arrested by the security services in the framework of an ongoing investigation on threats to the security of the State." Presumptions related to probable contacts with armed groups in Central Africa.
