The Cameroon Association of Protestant Churches have sent forth over 50 Christian Pilgrims to Israel.
The departure of the pilgrims was marked by a prayer session and a word of exaltation and benediction organized at the CEPCA premises at Elig Essono Yaounde yesterday June 22, 2016.
One of the key speakers during the departure ceremony was the Presbyterian Moderator the Right Reverend Samuel Fonki who urged the Pilgrims to make the trip worth it.
According to religious officials of the Protestant Association, the Pilgrimage to Israel is a spiritual renewal journey where Pilgrims will have the opportunity to experience life the geographic location of Jesus Christ and other Biblical figures like Abraham.
It will also help Theologians and Christians to have a deeper appreciation of the Bible they have been reading, preaching and teaching their congregations and students.
It is the third time the Cameroon Association of Protestant Churches is organizing such a trip that would last for ten days.
