Staff and members of auxiliary services presented their best wishes to the Prime Minister, Head of Government yesterday at the Star Building in Yaounde.
The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang, yesterday, January 12, 2015, received best wishes for the year 2015 from staff of his office as well as members of various auxiliary services.
Soon after the arrival of the Prime Minister at the esplanade of the Star Building in Yaounde at 3:00 pm for the brief but colourful ceremony, the Secretary General of the Prime Minister’s Office, Louis Paul Motaze, led the staff of the General Secretariat to say “Happy New Year” to the Head of Government.
Then followed the staff of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet led by Paul Ghoghomu Mingo whose lips visibly uttered words of best wishes to the smiling Prime Minister.
Members of auxiliary services attached to the Prime Minister’s Office were also present with good tidings for Philemon Yang. Members of the National Communication Council under the leadership of its Vice-President, Peter Essoka, first shook hands with the PM.
Delegations that followed included the National Governance Programme, the Permanent Secretariat of the National Road Board and the Permanent Secretariat of the Council for Regulation and Competitiveness.
Members of the Permanent Secretariat of the National Decentralisation Council as well as those of the Public Contracts Regulatory Board also stepped ahead to shake hands with the Prime Minister.
They were followed by members of the recently created Permanent Secretariat of the Committee for the Organisation of the African Cup of Nations. The Prime Minister’s security team, members of the Special Brigade of Reporters as well as the Protocol staff closed the presentation of wishes.
After appreciating the wishes presented him with a cheerful glance at the crowd, Philemon Yang waved goodbye and retired to his office at 3:35 pm.
