PM Yang Receives Côte d'Ivoire's Official

Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang on behalf of the Head of State, Paul Biya yesterday, July 15, 2013 received the President of the Constitutional Council of Côte d'Ivoire, Professor Francis Wodie.

Talking to the press after the discussions with the Head of Government, Professor Francis Wodie said he was heading a delegation that is touring the sub-region. He said there were already in Chad and from Cameroon, the delegation will go to Gabon, Congo and South Africa. The delegation besides sharing with sister institutions, also discussed the project of an international conference.

The President of Côte d'Ivoire's Constitutional Council, used the discussions with Prime Minister Yang to present to him the Council, its attributes and functioning. He said, they also compared it with the judicial situation in Cameroon. He expressed the wish to have exchanges with the Constitutional Council in Cameroon once the institution is put in place.
