Pan-African University - AU Delegation At MINREX

The Minister Delegate at the Ministry of External Relations in charge of the Commonwealth, Joseph Dion Ngute on Monday July 22, held talks with a delegation of the Commission of the African Union led by its Human Resource and Science and Technology Commissioner, M. Martial De-Paul Ikou Nga. Discussions hinged on the modalities of sojourn of foreign students enrolled in the Yaounde Pan-African University to soon go operational. Joseph Dion Ngute and M. Martial De-Paul Ikou Nga also talked on announced solemn opening and the new recruitments into the school.

The visiting delegation praised Cameroon's availability in the putting in place of the laudable and ambitious project of the African Union. The creation of the excellence institute on research in higher education on the continent besides the training of staff is part of AU's vision to help develop the continent.

It emerged from the audience that the Cameroonian government has expressed the readiness to offer substantial reductions to operations undertaken by students of the institution based in Cameroon.
