France, through the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies has offered 250,000 euro to refugees from Central African Republic (CAR) residing in eastern Cameroon, sources told APA.The fund aims at building sanitation infrastructures, providing medical and psychological assistance to the needy refugees, the sources said Friday.
The Cameroonian Red Cross is taking care of the refugees from eastern part of CAR providing them with food stuff, psychological support and access to clean drinking water.
According to recent figures, Cameroon has hosted since December 2013 more than 79,000 refugees including women, men and children who have fled the inter-religious clashes in their country.
