Paul Biya shows compassion to army

In his traditional message to the nation on December 31, 2014, Paul Biya did not fail to address the soldiers at the front.

"Have a thought for our soldiers who have fallen in defense of our homeland. Have a solidarity thought for those watching our security along our borders, to their families who are in the penalty or the concern for our compatriots finally who suffer in their flesh and in their souls". It is in these terms that Paul Biya ended his speech before forwarding his vows to the Cameroonians December 31 with his traditional televised radio message.

The head of State, the head of the armed forces, sympathized with the families who lost men in combat, to ensure peace and security along the borders is and Northern Cameroon. To join the words into deeds, the Secretary of State to the Minister of defence responsible for war veterans and victims of war however visited the forces on the ground at Garoua-Boulai (Eastern region).

He was carrying a series of three messages that the head of State addressed to his troops on the ground in order to thank them for the shot work. These are: the promise to put in place the necessary means so that soldiers continue to carry out their mission; the premise available to better the condition of housing through the participation programme established by the Minister of defence; the wishes of condolence addressed to the families of the soldiers who died on the field of war.
