Presidency: council of National Orders on day 2

The Councils of the National Orders is on a second day of work to scrutinize applications for the attribution of medals of distinction for this year's National Day celebration.

During the opening ceremony which took place yesterday, Senator Peter Mafany Musonge called on the Council members to show proof of objectivity and equity and ensure that only the best emerge from the process.

Over eight thousand applications have been submitted and the Council is currently at wok to retain 3,350 applications.
