The President of the Republic of Cameroon, His Excellency President Paul Biya, today June 4, 2014 signed a presidential decree appointing Governors to head the 10 regions of Cameroon.
Some of the personalities appointed were either new or transferred from one region to another and others were either transferred to other functions or completely dropped or went on retirement.
The decree also raised Sanaga Maritime Senior Divisional Officers, SDO, Jean Abate Edii as new governor of North region.
Midjiyawa Bakary new governor of Far North region exchanges his seat with Awah Fonka Augustine who is now new governor of West while North governor Wilson Joseph Otto goes to Yaoundé to replace Roger Moïse Eyene Nlom who goes on retirement.

Adamawa Region - (Mr. Abakar Ahamat) Centre Region - (Mr. Ottu Wilson Joseph) East Region - (Mr. Samuel Ivaha Dieudonne) maintained Extreme Nord Region - (Mr. Mijawah Bakary) Littoral Region – (Mr. Joseph Beti Assomo) maintained North Region – (Mr Jean Abate Edii) North West Region –(Mr. Adolf Lele) maintained West Region – (Mr. Awah Fonka Augustine) South Region – (Mr. Jules Marceline) maintained South West Region – (Mr. Bernard Okalia Bilai) maintained
The decree also appointed secretary Generals, Senior Divisional Officers, SDOs and University Officials
