Presidential Couple receive enthusiastic welcome

Paul Biya and First Lady Chantal were treated to an enthusiastic welcome home by militants of the CPDM and a huge crowd of well-wishers at the Nsimalen international airport in Yaounde.

Also on hand to give the Presidential Couple was the President of the Senate Marcel Niat Njifenji, the Speaker of the National Assembly Honourable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, the Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, and the Charge d’Affaires at the French Embassy Jérémie Robert.

President Paul BIYA had a brief chat with the four senior officials before heading into town and then to Unity Palace.
