The controversial scene man, Dieudonne Mballa, recently released a video in which he speaks of a return to the land of his ancestors in 2017.
Can the legal troubles of Dieudonne Mballa force him to come settle in Cameroon?
The comedian is seriously considering this hypothesis. In the video released by the Franco-Cameroonian on December 22, 2015, he elaborated on his intention to return home after a two-year tour in France.
"I give myself until the end of 2017, then I will go to Africa, the land of my ancestors. I intend to remain there till I die," Dieudonne Mballa bluntly said.
This is not the first time D. Mballa has made such as announcement.. In September 2015, he posted another video that he wanted to settle in Cameroon. He also called on social media users to follow him.
“Things are moving there. Besides, if you are interested in a change of scenery, change of life, do not hesitate. If you have the skills, be it electricians, carpenters, nurses. We will need everything since we are in the equatorial jungle and tomorrow it will be a city.”
The decision of the comedian probably has a link with his multiple legal trouble he has been having for years. When it is not trouble with tax, he is being prosecuted for his comments generally characterized as anti-Semitic.
On November 25, D. Mballa was again condemned, this time by the Liège Criminal Court to two months in prison for “Holocaust denial and hate” at a show in March 2012.
