Promotional textbooks sale opens today

Promotional sales of text books will take off today and will run till 30 September in the centre region. Books will be sold at Nanga-Eboko or Ntui at the same price as in Yaounde, i.e. the official prices, without transport costs included as from today, Monday.

The promotional caravan of sales from the Ministry of Commerce (Mincommerce) unfolds today in the central region, except in Mfoundi. Nicanor Zakaria Ndjinang, Deputy regional delegate for trade in the Center noted: 'This caravan will provide an opportunity for parents who go to the periodic markets to sell their food to buy textbooks for their children at the Yaoundé price'. And to clarify: "this activity will go as far as the farthest corners of the region to ensure that each parent or student is able to purchase textbooks."

We shall be accompanied by operators who sell basic necessities such as breakfast equipment so that parents can also have the opportunity to buy a box of milk or chocolate. Unlike what has been happening in other departments, the promotional sale of Mfoundi will end on September 20.
