Laurice Afne who died November 06 at the age of 32, was led to her final home Friday at Sobia.

The remains of Laurice Aye Afanemane best known under the pseudonym "Laurice Afne" was removed Thursday, November 13, 2014 from the Bertoua regional hospital mortuary at around 3 p.m.

The great media family of Bertoua, the mutual friends of the artists from the eastern region, colleagues, friends and acquaintances dressed in black and came to commiserate and share this moment of grief.

After being laid in the coffin in front of the mortuary, the prayer of the pastor Jacob Essindi, somewhat tampered the grief of the people when he talked of the life of Laurice Afne, who also devoted a substantial part of her existence to the religious life.

“We are strangers and travelers in this world. That is why God has shortened our stay on Earth, in order to limit our sufferings," comforted the servant of the Lord.

Despite the shock of this separation, some colleagues keep positive memories of her. "Laurice was a versatile and comprehensive facilitator who could be distinguished not only by her vocal timbre, but by professionalism," reflected Gustave Epock.
