Remains of soldiers killed by Boko Haram moved to Yaounde

The Cameroon army has transferred the bodies of 8 soldiers killed by the Nigerian Islamic sect Boko Haram to the nation's capital Yaounde.

The 8 soldiers were killed during gun battles at Amchide and Limani.

Their remains arrived Yaounde late Sunday and were kept at the military mortuary at Ekounou.

The government of Prime Minister Yang has in a statement said a state funeral will be held in their honour within the shortest time possible
