MP for the Mayo Sava, Abba Malla Boukar is in the crosshairs of the Cameroonian justice system since he came back from Nigeria where he had stayed for nearly two weeks to negotiate the release of Kolofata hostages.

His residence at Douggoi in Maroua district was raided Friday evening by a joint patrol commanded by the special unit of the gendarmerie, the Gpign.

For more than an hour, elements of the Polyvalent Intervention Group of the Gendarmerie Nationale (Gpign) loaded on four pickups carefully searched the residence of the negotiator of the Boko Haram sect for clues which would bind him to the Islamic Group installed in Nigeria.

Member of Mayo Sava was the principal negotiator between Cameroon and the kidnappers in the liberation of the French family, mill-Fournier, stopped at Waza, the french priest Georges, Italian priests and Canadian sister.

This same "negotiator" would be doing the mediation for the release of the ten Chinese kidnapped in Waza and the Vice Prime Minister Amadou Ali family. All these negotiations between the Cameroonian Government and the terrorists forced Yaoundé to suspect the negotiator of conniving with the Islamist group.
