SDF Prescribes Action

Social Democratic Front, SDF slogans were alive in the Bamenda municipal stadium on Sunday May 26 as the leading opposition party celebrated 23 years since inception. National Chairman, Ni John Fru Ndi was in the chair when militants reaffirmed the commitment to reinforce the struggle to win power and ensure equal opportunities for all in Cameroon.

It was against this back drop that Ni John Fru Ndi, just back from Germany where he joined the German SDP party to celebrate their 150-year history challenged SDF militants to rise to expectation ahead of the 25th anniversary in two years. The Chairman was not at ease with resolutions time and again that are hardly implemented. It was clear that the SDF has been noisier than effective when Fru Ndi said it was time out for talk, talk, talk and clapping. He inspired followers to renew commitment with actions that produce results. He however, saluted party militants who have been steadfast for 23 years and urged them to take care of their health as the way forward to prepare for greater efforts to win power and bring hope to Cameroonians.

Earlier, North West party Chairman, Hon Njong Evaristus said faithfuls had resolved to take advantage of re-opened biometric registers to massively register, vote and defend their voters during imminent legislative and municipal elections. The cutting of an anniversary cake, song and dance dropped curtains on celebrations.
