The parliamentary group of the Social Democratic Front (SDF) wrote a letter to the president about the Koumateke case.

The SDF Parliamentary Group of the National Assembly led by the Honourable Joseph Banadzem and the Senate led by Senator Jean Tsomelou wrote a letter to the head of state.

In it, the members of parliament recommend Paul Biya to “see to the manifest incompetence of the Minister of Public Health and draw all the consequences.”

According to La Nouvelle Expression on newsstands this Tuesday, March 22, 2016, the comrades of John Fru Ndi deplore the attitude of the Minister of Health.

“It is important to note here, to castigate the inappropriate and pernicious provocative statements of the Minister of Public Health, before the results of investigations in this regard to that effect instead inflamed the situation,” they wrote.

In addition to the head the Ministry of Health, Fru Ndi’s party asks Paul Biya to prosecute against the “guilty” medical personnel that caused the “death” of Monique Koumatekel and her twins.

Faced with this analysis, members of the SDF parliament have a solution: the reorganization of the reception and the emergency services of hospitals and other health facilities and reform the Cameroonian health system in the “shortest possible time” .

For the SDF, the recurrence of events arising from the negligence of medical staff is a sufficient argument to the President of the Republic to sanction André Mama Fouda.
