Saudi Ambassador, House Speaker Review Relations

The new Saudi Ambassador to Cameroon was yesterday July 8 received by House Speaker.

House Speaker, Cavaye Yeguié Djibril yesterday July 8, 2013 received in audience the new Saudi Ambassador to Cameroon, Mohammed Siliman Mohammed Al Mussher. At the end of the over 30 minute discussions, Mohammed Siliman Mohammed Al Mussher told reporters that he was at the cabinet of the House Speaker to discuss relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Cameroon.

The august guest and Cavaye Yeguié Djibril took time off to review long existing and excellent bilateral relations between both countries, Mohammed Al Mussher stressed. He pointed out that they discussed about the possibility of strengthening the historic bilateral ties. "As of now, the visit to the House Speaker was just that of courtesy given that I just arrived Cameroon," Mohammed Al Mussher.

The new Saudi Ambassador to Cameroon, Mohammed Siliman Mohammed Al Mussher presented his letters of introduction to the Minister of External Relations, Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo on July 2, 2013. He replaces Mahmoud bin Hussein Quattan whose tenure in Cameroon was marked by the reinforcement of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Cameroon. The country on several occasions supported Cameroon through the offer of aid in various fields, especially dates as part of its yearly gesture of helping to boost the nutritional needs of Cameroonians.
