A delegation from the Ministry was in Wouri on January 14, 2015.

The Divisional Delegate of Secondary Education for Wouri Division in the Littoral Region, Henry Delor Bosso, principals of both public and private secondary schools and founders of private secondary schools, have been sensitised on the importance of keeping appropriate staff data.

Such data includes the number of staff, their ages, longevity in service, presence at work, level of education and certificates obtained. It also considers transfers, promotions, appointments, dismissals and cases of death.

According to Henry Delor Bosso, furnishing accurate data will be of great importance to the Ministry of Secondary Education as it will enable the authorities to carry out transfers, appointments and recruitment when need be.

It will as well also help the Ministry to have enough information on private institutions when giving out subventions.
