About thirty secretaries general of the ministry of public service and administrative reforms are attending a two-day meeting in Bakingili, Limbe to exchange ideas on time management in public service.
The conclave that held under the theme “Time Management, Leadership and Performance in the Cameroon Public Administration” took place at the Seme Hall.
Opening the event organized on 18th and 19th of September 2014, the Minister of Public Service and Reforms, Michel Ange Angouing reminded the participants of the Head of State’s resolve to combat laxity in the Public Service.
The Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms singled out bad practices like late coming and absence from work, as impediments to productivity.
Professor Machikou Nadine Ndzesop one of the seminar facilitators delved on time factor that is important to Cameroon’s dreams of emerging by 2035.
The resolutions and final report of the encounter shall be exploited by each ministry as a working tool against laxity in Cameroon’s Administrative services.
